The vision statement process and the opportunity to practice the tools with the other trainees was excellent. Getting to know each other, (what a diverse group) made it really interesting. The affirmation of self and the understanding that I have already coached people was my favorite part. Now I have tools to make me stronger and more effective. The trainer, Harry made it interesting and engaging while also challenging. He truly cares about his students and makes every effort to answer all questions while keeping the program on schedule. He is funny, motivated, knowledgeable and very professional. I like the software technology program for the training. It has ALL of the bases covered. It is easy to use and is very flexible. The content is focused and relative, without a lot of theory. As one former student told me, “It has the beef of professional life coaching.” I now have all of the basics to launch my Professional Life Coaching practice. The fact that the instructor, Harry Shade, modeled good coaching while presenting the information. The entire experience was self-affirming as well as informative. The WGI coaching system was phenomenal. I think the vision statement is particularly powerful and learning to write them is both challenging and exciting. Of course we’re not going to do the vision statement without the new client interview and the circle of personal perspective which was also a great part of their system. I think this part of the system is the heart of the innovative approach WGI is providing to coaching I certainly would recommend this course because I think the combination of self-affirmation with critical information is both helpful and motivating to the student. Update: The primary test of what I learned in the work with Wainwright Global is how it is received by my clients. They love it. They like the material, the approach and best of all the results. I am delighted with the response my use of the Wainwright Global materials have elicited from the people I am helping in my coaching practice. I would recommend the Wainwright Global training to anyone interested in developing a coaching career.

I liked the vision statement more than I thought I would. It was more emotional than I had anticipated and was powerful and uplifting. I loved the interactions with other participants. It gives participants a chance to practice with other like-minded individuals and also gives new coaches sometimes their first opportunity to be in a client’s position. The vision statement was the best part in my perspective. When participants are hearing their own vision statements it is so powerful. Most vision statements spoke to the new coaches dream and it set the stage for the rest of their successful lives. It helps to remove doubt and fear tremendously. The ongoing student/leader and student/student interaction was very helpful to me. I loved being able to play the role of both coach and client. It provided tools to go out and start coaching. The tools were simple and very direct. They provided me with confidence to jump right in and start practicing with friends and loved ones…initially…then build from there. Outside of the knowledge and tools, I feel like the interaction was most valuable for me. I got a chance to be thrown into the fire, so to speak, and got a chance to use what I was being taught. Amazing experience! I absolutely would recommend this course! Although a lot of information is given to you to process at once, it is a dynamic way of getting you started quickly. This keeps the momentum going when you have decided to step into the world of coaching. There is still much to learn for sure, but it is our life’s work to continue to learn, and grow daily. Again, this is the perfect way to jump right in!
WGI offers proven tools for coaching. I recommend this course highly to those considering adapting their working identity. It is affordable and fits within different work schedules. WGI provided me with the solid foundations, expert training, and ability to continue developing skills as a coach and to help others achieve their goals. The geographic, professional, cultural and ethnic diversity of participants was a plus. The presenter was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and charismatic. One participant, however, seemed unwilling to participate in various exercises and commentaries therefore reducing the possibility of interaction.

Coaching session exercises were great! Practicing coaching skills in real conversations as well as experiencing the benefits of those conversations from the client perspective provide experiential learning which is much more effective than understanding theory. I would definitely recommend this course for people who naturally have the coaching skills and simply seek a framework and certification. It’s a fast affordable solution to that challenge. I would probably not recommend this course to build a foundation for coaching skills to someone who had an interest but was not confident in their competence.

It is simple, structured and gives great tools for efficient coaching. There is also a lot of practice and this is just amazing how much we can learn within 16 hours. This has been a great group! The possibility to practice and also to be coached in the process was excellent. Two in one :-). I even found a great resource for my project with one of my partners help. I have already recommended it to my friend, because it is very helpful professionally, short-time, intensive, right-priced and provides a certificate. It would be even better, if you had an affiliate program 🙂
It’s fast paced and does not waste time and it gives you the opportunity to practice coaching so that when you get a client they don’t get the impression that they are your first client. This way you and the client can confidently continue the coaching/client relationship. I wouldn’t recommend this course, because I don’t want competition in the field! I’m just kidding, of course I would. This course was informative and fun to the very end.

I loved the rapport with the Teacher and fellow students. I especially liked the one on one practice interviews. I appreciate the aspect of discovery learning between coach and client. As a teacher of gifted and talented students, discover and inquiry learning was my main focus. I believe clients are more receptive to what they discover themselves. The feeling of hands on, one-on-one training immediately after learning the tools and steps allowing for the brain to become trained and learned was an excellent educational technique. I have become infatuated with NLP and have looked into NLP training and classes. It was a welcomed surprise and benefit that this was included in the course. Yes I would recommend this course, because there are many “chains” of systems out there that are super expensive and drag the process out. This course gives you exactly what you need to learn the tools as well as effective tools for marketing yourself.

I enjoyed interacting with other people who desire to be coaches. While being the client was less comfortable for me, I enjoyed it and look forward to sharing these ideas with others. The vision statement was outstanding. Actually learning to listen carefully and then taking the time to prepare a statement about a person in a highly positive and motivating language both connects you to that person and allows that person to feel safe and valued. I already have recommended this course. Do I get a bonus? :: smiles :: It was quick and I think it was priced well for what we received in this field. It was nice to be in touch with other newbies and to have a gifted and warmhearted teacher in Elizabeth. To learn more about this technology, the “teleconference” was also great. I liked that I got to see how WGI does the program and got to compare it with other programs that I learned and to know that I get a certificate that gives my clients more confidence in my work. The certificate for my business was my favorite aspect. I have been a therapist & counselor for 20 years now and I also worked as a coach in Germany and have seen these tools before, but to use them and to do it in a language that is not my mother-tongue was great! Your program makes sense! I’d recommend this course, because the system makes sense, it is clear and covers a lot of important ground and it seems you choose great teachers. The confidence and support of the trainers and the application of the concepts with the team were excellent. The ability to work one on one with team members was a great way to learn the coaching system. My favorite part was the self-discovery and of course, hearing my own vision statement! I was able to test my coaching skills in “real time” and see the impact of the process. Yes I would recommend this course. The master coach team is professional and obviously experienced. They believe in the concepts and the process and use them in their lives. I appreciate the opportunity to learn a process that supports the greatest potential of human beings, supporting their dreams and desires.
The Master Coach, Linda Gallicchio, was an excellent communicator. We had hands on activities. It was very personal and easy to relate to. Learning what a coach’s purpose is, identifying the areas that we explore with our clients and how to question, knowing that we don’t need the answers, we need to ask the right questions was valuable. I want to be sure that I am equipped to help clients reach their goals. With these tools I will feel confidant about what and how I can accomplish what I need to achieve. I liked how we were able to interact with each other in the class and how we worked with different people. I appreciated the opportunity to do some coaching and to receive some coaching. I believe the vision statements will help all of us to be able to focus our energies. The most valuable aspect to me is the vision statement because it is necessary for us as coaches to have focus in our lives. We must be able to practice what we preach and the vision statements are a great way of doing that. I would recommend this course because even though we have all coached people at some point in our lives, there still needs to be a foundation that we work from as we deal with different people. Once the foundation is established, we can change what is necessary to accommodate the client while still using the same basic principles of coaching.
There are so many reasons I enjoyed this course. Taking it from home and really coming away with a concrete formula to assist my clients. Meeting all the (soon to be) new coaches and working with many of them on such a personal level. The interview, writing the vision statement and working on my own personal goals. Working with Harry was fabulous! I loved the pictures he shared with us. Learning how to write a vision statement is a true gift from the heart. I feel when you give the vision statement you might have conveyed the most positive and powerful statement that the receiver has ever heard. Yes I’d recommend the course! The course is fabulous! If you are looking for a coaching course that is packed with powerful, meaningful, thought provoking, mind inspiring experience look no further. The knowledge is way beyond the cost! Update: I must say my husband (Tom Myers) and I were not confident that the course could be done via webinar; we were delightfully surprised. The course content was easily conveyed to the students, the interactive exercises were filled with valuable education in real life time. I cannot say enough regarding the vision statement, learning how to give that alone was worth the money I paid for the whole course.

The practical application of the theory (coaching and being coached) was an excellent way to learn. Use of the circle of personal perspective and the interview questions which lead up to the writing of the vision statement was my favorite part of the course. The vision statement is so valuable because it will give people a tool to implement a new way of thinking and seeing the future. Yes I would recommend this course. My favorite part was the connection with each other and learning new perspectives on life coaching. Since I’ve only done business coaching and consulting, I was shocked at how much I enjoyed filling out the circle and hearing a vision statement that described such well-balanced growth. Using the tools in real life with each other was great and I love the vision statement. I will call it something more specific, because it’s so different than the corporate, one sentence vision statements that we make for business arena. I also think it’s a very high-end service. Personally the most valuable aspect was realizing how I am passionate about the whole life balance aspect of building a business and I want to communicate that in my marketing message. I always say, “Your life is so much bigger than your livelihood.” So, it’s nice to be able to understand and articulate that sometimes I act in the role of a coach, and when it comes to marketing and sales, and performance, I will offer consulting. (This is why I’m not the cheapest coach on the block.) I would recommend this course, because it can help anybody learn to be more effective with the people around them. Update: Katie put a phrase in my vision statement that I would not have put there, but it was a big deal. I’ve recorded the script she gave me and I’ve been listening every day. Her words were, “You consistently ask for year long coaching agreements and your clients immediately agree.” That was a big stretch for me, but I just hung up with my first sale of a year long agreement on auto billing for $850 per month! This is my highest paying and longest term so far. Thank you so much Katie, for being so attentive in our call that you created statements that are truly filling my life with simplicity and success. You are an excellent coach. I am certain that your encouragement has just added over 10 thousand dollars to my bottom line that I would not have had the courage to ask for without you.

Obtaining the proper tools necessary to be productive and successful in this industry was outstanding. The student to student interaction was my favorite. You’re forced to give of yourself in order to get the most out of the lessons being taught whether you’re playing the role of client or coach. I’d absolutely recommend this course. I was very concerned about spending 16 hours in front of my computer screen, but because of the value of the curriculum and exercises, the time really flew.

The practice we got was excellent. Doing the interviews, writing a vision statement and having one read to me was very powerful and enlightening! The knowing is in the doing, so practicing this was valuable. Also, getting the forms and questions was extremely valuable to me because this is what was holding me back from getting started in my practice. Yes I’d recommend WGI’s life coach training course, because i feel like it offers what one needs to get started if they are serious about doing coaching as a practice. The forum is easy to use and it’s well organized. I liked the forms also, which can be used forever in my coaching practice.

I liked how it was quick, focused, and based on NLP. The use of the Client/Personal vision statement was a great tool and this is a powerful way to give the client a tool that he can use to visualize and even use as a positive affirmation of what he wants to accomplish. I know a lot about the power of creating vision statements for both companies and people, but I’ve never seen the concept used in a coaching framework. I think this clearly separates WGI from other coaching schools. I recommend the course for its focus on practical application, duration, the integration of the Personal vision statement, and the focus on NLP principles. Now, having stated that, I think that if a person already has experience in coaching, NLP, and (as in my case), Organization/ Industrial Psychology, this course helps you gain a professional credential for that small percentage of people (potential clients) who like to see that.

The instructor, Harry Shade, was excellent at keeping us on track and moving forward. I’ve learned I can first use these tools in my own life and then I can incorporate them into my consulting business. I know so much more about how to ask the right questions, what limiting words and phrases to look for, and how to understand others’ communication styles. Yes I would recommend this course, it is convenient, on target, concise, interesting and educational. I like the group interaction and the ability to coach and be coached along the way.
I liked the interactions and the fact that the teacher has been loving and caring and I felt the people who organized this course are sincere and really did a good job. I felt they were honestly trying to train us and give all the tools in a nutshell to be good coaches. Yes I would recommend this course, because it is not expensive, you learn the tools and it’s valuable. I understand that one has to practice more in order to master the method.

I would highly recommend the Wainwright Global coaching program. The program provides a solid coaching program consisting of foundational listening and questioning skills that includes an introduction to Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and the Socratic Method. Students receive hands on practice coaching, as well as experience being coached. Finally, the Wainwright Global teaches a complete process for new coaches to apply in their own practice. I would recommend this program to anyone who has a solid understanding of what coaching is but would like the certification and the experience of going through a certification process.

I liked the openheartedness and professionalism of the teachers and the rapport between the students. I was also very happy with the way the course was presented and I feel that I easily understood everything and when I had a question it was always answered in a way that I could grasp it. I would recommend this course to anyone interested in coaching and mentoring. I liked many things! I was positively surprised by the dynamics of an on-line course; lots of interaction between ourselves and the teachers. The real-time practice and interaction made the learning received from WGI much more lasting. Technology was a plus, and supported great dynamics. Also a multicultural, multi-country environment enriched a lot of its impact. I really liked the reinforcement and clarity of the role of a coach, as a companion to the client and his/her goals, and the impact of NLP in the coaching practice. I already have recommended this course as as I think its practicality, application and value/price ratio is more than positive.

I think the exercises were the most important because it FORCED me to actively participate in the process. It was a valuable experience being able to be the coach as well as be the client. Writing and hearing the vision statement was very empowering. When reading the vision statement, it helps you feel that you really can impact another person’s life for the better. I loved the vision statement, what a gift to give to someone and it is the first time I’ve seen or heard of it coming from the coach. I love the personalization/individualization and I don’t know that a lot of clients would do it themselves, but they might take what the coach has given them. Yes I would recommend this course and I already have, because it’s good for getting some specific skills and specific ways to do coaching.
